Talleres Gara is currently a machining company that utilizes several systems: The SolidWorks environment, which has classic functionality. In this environment, solids and surfaces are treated independently or together. On the other hand, we opt for a more dynamic and versatile environment, the Powershape software. It is a design program that combines the structure of SolidWorks but with the capability for dynamic changes, allowing us to work with very complex surfaces. It has a direct relationship with our C.A.M. system, which is Powermill. Therefore, we can use the same element simultaneously in design and machining.
Talleres Gara S.A. is currently a machining company that has advanced and precise measuring instruments to subject our products to strict and rigorous control in order to meet customer demands. The parts are verified on the machines and include a control sheet with the measurements taken. In addition to this, for those parts that require greater precision, we have the Brazo Romer Absolute measuring device, a novelty in the world of portable measuring arms. It features absolute encoders and, therefore, becomes the first measuring arm that does not require referencing before measurement.
